New Heineken Commercial

It's unusual when I post about non-baby related stuff. But today is the first time that I saw this new Heineken commercial and I thought it was hilarious. DH and I could totally relate to it. lol!

On the baby front - I dont really have any symptoms which makes me a litte nervous. Ok, I think I may vaguely have the following symptoms: I tend to get up in the early AM to pee (but only once), I've been having weird vivid dreams (some of them sexual --woohoo!) which is very unusual for me, and I think my nipples are just starting to get slightly sensitive, but it's so slight it's almost unnoticeable and doesn't seem to last throughout the day, and I sometimes feel slight nausea once in a while. However, over all, my body feels pretty regular considering I'm pregnant. Part of me just wants to wear an "I'm pregnant" sign, just so you know, people will know that I'm a part of the "cool" club....but then again, I'm in the stage of..."we're not telling anyone until after the appointment". I dunno, I'm weird I guess. I did, however, tell my mother today because it was her birthday, and because we're super close, and two of my super duper close friends know...one because I wanted to tell her and the other because she figured it out yesterday when I tried to order a virgin bloody mary when we met for after work drinks...she was like, "Howcome you ordered a virgin?" (all smiley sounding) and I was like....."Huh?" But she guessed b/c she knows about my history and about trying and stuff. So yeah....anyways.....enough of the boring stuff...k-bye.

  1. It's not boring. It's wonderful. You went sooo long having to listen to everyone else's happy pregnancy chatter and just took those stupid BC pills... I love hearing all the tiny little details, and I know exactly how you feel! Even though we say we won't tell anyone this time I have a feeling our closest people will be let into the circle when the time comes! I changed my blog website name, btw... your link doesn't work anymore (sorry). Love the side belly pic - I didn't take any the first time and vowed to do it the next time!

  2. Look at it from this perspective--if we weren't infertile we wouldn't even know you were pregnant yet A. Because you feel normal B. Because you at this point would still "just be" late. and C. Because you wouldn't really know what to be looking for.

My sisters each have children--and both said their real symptoms-the sore swollen breasts for example didn't begin until the 6th to 8th week, which incidentally was when they both tested--4 times between each of them.

So...just enjoy, one day soon you will be "complaining" because you are puking your guts out a the most inopportune times.

  3. Don't worry about not feeling symptomatic yet. Remember, that some woman do not even start noticing morning sickness symptoms until closer to 8 weeks. You are charting and keeping track of your cycles, so you have caught notice of your BFP long before some of your symptoms could even begin. Some women are lucky and have no early prego symptoms and have completely normal, healthy pregnancies. I think that you may not have even noticed that you were pregnant if you weren't charting unless you realized AF was late by closer to a week or two. I am guessing around then is when the symptoms will kick in. :) But if they don't consider yourself lucky. I personally wouldn't wish 1st trimester pregnancy symptoms on even my worst enemy.. and that's even though its for a wonderful cause. Hang in there! I am sure that the next 16 days are going to leave you open for a lot of wondering and nervousness and waiting.. but I just know deep down it will all be worthwhile in the end and you will see a beautiful little heartbeat when you go in for the u/s!! You are in my prayers.. as always! :)

  4. I didn't start feeling any real pregnancy symptoms until almost exactly week 7. Then cam the nausea, metallic taste in my mouth, incredibly sore BBs . . .

    Don't worry, it's coming!
